How we built an all-in-one event management platform — personalised QR invitations, instant gate check-in, live lucky draw, and one-click guest exports.
Event organisers we spoke to were stitching together spreadsheets, printed guest lists, and a separate lucky-draw laptop for every event — slow at the gate, and impossible to report on afterwards.
We built The Event Hub to replace all of that with one web platform.
What we built
- Personalised digital invitations with a unique QR code generated per guest.
- Instant QR check-in at the gate — no manual lookup, no printed lists.
- Live lucky draw that runs directly off the checked-in guest list, displayed on the venue screen.
- One-click Excel export of guest lists and check-in history for post-event reporting.
Stack
Next.js, React, MongoDB, and the device camera API for in-browser QR scanning — no separate scanner hardware required.
Outcome
The Event Hub went from concept to a live product at evnhub.app, running real events end to end — invitations, check-in, and the draw, all from one dashboard. It is the same delivery model — a lean scope, a working product fast, then iterate — that we bring to founder-led SaaS products.
