When you use our App, we may collect certain personally identifiable information, including:

• Google Account Information: If you choose to sign in with Google, we collect your email address and basic profile information (such as your name) to create and manage your account.

B. User-Generated Content

• Images and Photos: The App allows you to upload or capture photos (e.g., race bibs). These images are processed to extract text (using on-device or cloud text recognition) and may be securely stored on our servers (via Vercel Blob) so you can access them across your devices.
• Race and Pace Data: Information you input regarding your running pace, race schedules, and achievements.

C. Device Permissions

To provide specific features, the App may request the following permissions:

• Camera & Photo Library: To allow you to take photos of your race bibs or select images from your gallery.
• Notifications: To send you local reminders about your upcoming races and packing lists.

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the App's core functionality (pace calculation, race tracking).
• To authenticate your identity securely.
• To process images and extract relevant running data (e.g., bib numbers).
• To send you timely reminders for your scheduled races (only if you grant notification permissions).
• To sync your data across devices.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your data with trusted third-party service providers solely to operate the App:

• Google Sign-In: For secure authentication.
• Vercel / Cloud Storage: For secure hosting of our backend API and storage of your uploaded race images.
• Google ML Kit: For recognizing text from your uploaded images.

These third parties are obligated not to disclose or use your information for any other purpose.

We implement reasonable security measures (including secure token storage and encrypted API communications) to protect your personal information. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Account Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. You can completely delete your account and all associated data directly within the App by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. Upon confirmation, your profile, race data, and uploaded images will be permanently removed from our active servers.

The App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
